Nutkrack The name does NOT lie – these are truly addictive. These handmade, small-batch caramelized pecans have only four ingredients, but their flavor is far from simplistic. They’re impossible to stop eating, so plan to give them away. Otherwise, you may find yourself hiding them from yourself — reaching in every couple of seconds, and suddenly finding them gone.

Wine of the Week
Trimbach Pinot Gris Reserve Personnelle ’12
“Pale straw-green. Pristine aromas of white stone fruits and balsamic herbs. Rich and ripe but very fresh too, with lively acidity enlivening the orchard fruit and balsamic spice flavors and extending the finish. The wine’s residual sugar is obvious but it nonetheless comes across as basically dry, extremely precise and not at all heavy. The long aftertaste features notes of smoked beef, tropical fruits and flint. A knockout Pinot Gris.”
93 Pts Vinous $45.99/btl
