Cheese Board
Tommette Brulee From master affineur Rodolphe Le Meunier. A classic Petit Basque aged for a few months, then burnt with an open flame. The result is beautiful; grassy and sweet yet with added caramel-y, smoky, nuttiness from the open flame. $31.00/lb
Hafod Cheddar A Neals Yard Dairy selection – Cheddar with a supple, golden paste and the occasional blue vein. The flavors are rich, layered, and generally less acidic than other cheddars. A true artisanal gem from Rob Howard at the Hollden Farm Dairy $25.00/lb
Point Reyes Tomarashi The buttery, creamy, grassy farmstead cheese you know and love, but with the addition of the delicious Japanese spice blend, Togarashi. You’ll enjoy flakes of nori, toasted sesame, poppy seeds, chili flakes, and umami-rich ginger. $28.00/lb

Wine of the Week
Chateau du Trignon Gigondas ’13
“Bright ruby. Sexy, mineral-accented aromas of ripe red berries, lavender and peppery spices show very good clarity. Silky, seamless raspberry and floral pastille flavors are nicely concentrated and sharply focused, and a hint of smokiness comes up on the back half. At once rich and lively, finishing with lingering spiciness and gentle tannic grip.”
