La Sablesienne Our celebration of all things French includes these wonderful jams including the stand-out Confiture Extra de Myrtilles. The tangy taste of very fragrant little blueberries. Artisanal, the fruit-rich jams are perfect at breakfast or to accompany cheese.
Opinel No.08 Folding Knife with Sheath When French blacksmith Joseph Opinel crafted his first pocket knife in 1890, he sought to make something functional and beautiful using local materials. The result became a design icon that has been used and loved by people from all walks of life for more than 130 years. In conjunction with our Bastille Day celebration, we’re pleased to offer a range of Opinel tools, including the classic No.08 folding knife with synthetic leather sheath. Whether you’re hiking the French Alps or painting your next masterpiece (the No.08 was also favorite of Picasso!), this set would make an ideal gift that will never go out of style.

Wine of the Week
Chateau Beau-Sejour Becot ’18 “The 2018 Beau-Sejour Becot has really closed down since I tasted in en primeur. Inky red/purplish fruit, lavender, rose petal, mint and blood orange gradually open in the glass, all framed by veins of chalky minerality. The 2018 is a fabulous wine in the making, but readers have to be patient. Time in a decanter or simply in the glass helps to bring out the wine’s considerable depth. Drink 2026-2043.”
