La Sablesienne Our celebration of all things French includes these wonderful jams including the stand-out Confiture Extra de Myrtilles. The tangy taste of very fragrant little blueberries. Artisanal, the fruit-rich jams are perfect at breakfast or to accompany cheese.
Splintered Hot Sauces New SC Product! Small business owner and clear music lover Jeff Commerford of Fort Mill, SC picked up growing Carolina Reaper peppers in 2017 and started experimenting. He took advantage of the time he had during the Covid-19 pandemic and landed on these three wonderfully balanced hot sauces. One would think the Carolina Reaper pepper would completely overpower the palate at 1,641,183 Scoville units, but this is absolutely not the case. These sauces are incredibly approachable and bring with them some wonderful flavors we hope you enjoy as much as we do. Stop in the shop Saturday 7/23 and try them out for yourself!

Wine of the Week
Chateau Saint-Roch Kerbuccio ’19 “The 2019 Maury Sec Château Saint-Roch Kerbuccio is 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah aged 14 months in a 50-50 mix of demi-muids and concrete tanks. Among the Saint-Roch wines, this has that little bit extra in virtually all dimensions. It features vibrant blackberries and spice on the nose, is full-bodied and concentrated on the palate and lingers on the finish. Hints of crushed stone, dusty but fine tannins provide structure and the finish, while robust and flavorful, also conveys a sense of elegance. At $25, it’s one of the top bargains I’ve tasted this year.”
