La Sablésienne Another French debut from La Sablésienne to celebrate all things confiserie and pastisserie a la Parisienne for Bastille Day 2022 at TGS! La Sablésienne continues the biscuit-making tradition of Petit Sablé, a recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1670, when the Marquise de Sablé, the first ambassador, introduced this small round biscuit to the king’s court. La Sablésienne jams: Artisanal, the fruit-rich jams are perfect at breakfast or to accompany cheese. Organic figs grown in France – 65% fruit for a more intense taste -the scent and sweetness of violet figs, with a delicate taste.

Wine of the Week
Faury Saint Joseph ’19
“Faury’s 2019 Saint Joseph comes from his 15 parcels in Chavanay and includes 70% whole clusters, a bit more than usual. Matured in a mix of foudres and demi-muids, it boasts enthralling aromas of violets, rose petals, black tea leaves and crushed peppercorns, all sprinkled liberally over a base of black olives and red berries. Medium to full-bodied, it’s an outstanding effort, complex, silky and long on the finish. Drink 2022-2030.”
