Wine of the Week
Chateau Sain-Roch Kerbuccio ’19 “The 2019 Maury Sec Château Saint-Roch Kerbuccio is 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah aged 14 months in a 50-50 mix of demi-muids and concrete tanks. Among the Saint-Roch wines, this has that little bit extra in virtually all dimensions. It features vibrant blackberries and spice on the nose, is full-bodied and concentrated on the palate and lingers on the finish. Hints of crushed stone, dusty but fine tannins provide structure and the finish, while robust and flavorful, also conveys a sense of elegance. At $25, it’s one of the top bargains I’ve tasted this year.” 93 Pts Wine Advocate $19.99/btl
