feature from The Gourmet ShopMatcha Is Matcha better than coffee? We invite you to decide.
Matcha provides a slower absorption of caffeine in your bloodstream over the course of several hours.
Matcha is also high in L-Theanine, which is known to reduce stress and lessen anxiety.
In Eastern traditions, people might associate this with feelings of “zen.”
Try one of our new brands that just arrived. Also, a few new beautiful matcha bowls to perfect your “tea ceremony”

feature from The Gourmet ShopMatcha Nude The reviews are in: the taste is amazing…
“This is matcha magic: organic, mellow, and never bitter, with a bright green hue that tastes as good as it looks. Long-lasting energy with zero crash.”
Ingredients: 100% pure organic premium-grade matcha from Kagoshima, Japan. Each bag contains 50 servings.
You won’t find any bitterness or astringency in your cup with this gorgeous Japanese Matcha.

Color Theory Tea Co. Feels Like: A burst of fresh ideas (and the energy to start working on them).
Tastes Like: Grassy, Nutty, Mellow
Matcha is made from high-grade, shade-grown green tea leaves that are ultimately ground into powdered form. The resulting tea powder is traditionally whisked into hot water, instead of steeped, to form a frothy drink.
What is the color theory of matcha?
The vibrant color of matcha depends on the amount of chlorophyll contained in the tea leaves.
Chlorophyll is the green pigment necessary for plants to perform photosynthesis, the more vibrantly green the leaves is a sure sign of quality.

Wine of the Week

wine of the week at The Gourmet ShopAperture Cabernet Sauvignon ’21
“The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Aperture’s estate vineyard in Healdsburg and their newest vineyard acquisition, Farrow Ranch in Alexander Valley, plus some of the original single vineyards in the Aperture program like Oliver Ranch. It is blended with 6% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot, 3% Malbec and 1% Cabernet Franc and was matured for 16 months in 55% new French oak. It has vibrant, layered aromas of blueberry compote, lavender, aniseed, milk chocolate and nutmeg with undertones of cast iron and tobacco leaves. The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled, pairing deep flavors with a weightless feel due to its bright acidity and velvety tannins. It has a long, latent finish and deserves 3-5 years in bottle. 4,480 cases produced. Drink 2030-2045.”
