Wine of the Week
Louis Chenu Savigny “Les Lavieres” ’19
“The 2019 Savigny-les-Beaune Les Lavieres 1er Cru comes from three small parcels in close proximity. The well-defined nose offers brambly red fruit, touches of sous-bois and a hint of clove. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a slightly grainy texture, gentle grip and a lovely graphite-tinged, edgy finish. This is a great Savigny. Drink 2022-2035.”(91-93)
