Pandoro and Panettone
Celebrate the holidays the Italian way with Vergani Pandoro Classico, a soft, golden star-shaped cake baked with traditional craftsmanship in Verona. This iconic Christmas dessert is known for its incredibly light, buttery texture and delicate vanilla aroma that melts in every bite.
Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or festive gatherings, Pandoro is often enjoyed with a dusting of powdered sugar for the classic “snow-covered” look.
Warm it slightly before serving to enhance its rich, fluffy softness.
The Chocolate and Pistachio Panettone by Vergani is a sweet, dome-shaped loaf made with high-quality ingredients such as mother yeast and fresh eggs and butter, then filled with a delicious Pistachio Cream, and covered with extra dark chocolate and pistachio bits for an irresistible crunch.
Excellent on its own, this panettone pairs well with fresh berries, whipped cream, and dark chocolate. Enjoy the holiday cake with a cup of coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up, or serve as after-dinner dessert with a glass of Italian Sparkling wine.
Founded in 1944 in a small pastry shop on Viale Monza in Milan, the enterprising Angelo Vergani started his own bakery. Now, Vergani is celebrated for its traditional holiday panettone (the classic Christmas cake) and other holiday treats.

Branaire-Ducru Saint- Julien’19
“The 2019 Branaire-Ducru unwinds in the glass with aromas of raspberries, blackcurrants, sweet soil tones and hints of cigar wrapper, rose petals and cedar. Medium to full-bodied, deep and layered, it’s youthfully tightly wound, with terrific concentration, tangy acids, powdery tannins and a long, saline finish. While this is a little reserved out of the gates, its energy and classical proportions will richly reward bottle age. Drink 2029-2065.”
