Wildfish Cannery Despite an abundance of tinned seafood brands operating in North America, there are only a few craft seafood canneries, and Wildfish Cannery is one of them. All of their seafood is hand-harvested and sustainably sourced by fisherfolk and divers in Alaska’s responsibly-managed, community-based fisheries. Simply put: this is arguably the best North American tinned seafood one can buy. Now sold at The Gourmet Shop in the following varieties – Peperonata Pacific Cod with roasted red pepper, tomato, garlic, onion, and olive oil; Rockfish with garlic and sumac; and Smoked Coho Salmon with brown sugar. Prices vary.

Wine of the Week
Chateau Bolaire ’19 “Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Bolaire (usually around 50% Petit Verdot and 50% Merlot) has a spectacular note of crushed black and red cherries, warm plums and violets with hints of chocolate box, eucalyptus and Sichuan pepper plus a waft of cinnamon toast. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of bold, expressive black fruits, supported by ripe, grainy tannins and tons of freshness, finishing long and spicy. Delicious!” Advocate $19.99/btl (90-92)
