Hale Tea Co. With roots tracing back to a humble tea shop in London, England, in 1872, Hale Tea Co. was brought to Savannah, Georgia in 1989 by the Hale family. Today, Hale Tea Co. is owned and operated by a local Savannah College of Art and Design graduate who works together with local artists on their packaging. Together, they draw inspiration from the historic city. Hale Tea Co teas are all 100% natural and/or organic, and allergen and gluten free. Try their best-selling Parisian Dreams, featuring a blend of currants, hibiscus petals, rosehip peel, elderberries, blueberries, cornflower petals, raspberries and chamomile flowers (turns pink when brewed!). Or enjoy the warm spices of cardamom, orange, cinnamon, ginger, and clove in the Secrets of India Chai tea. What’s more? All their teas come in a sleek, reusable Art Deco inspired tin! Wine of the Week
Chateau Pesquie Quintessence ’22
“Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2019 Bolaire (usually around 50% Petit Verdot and 50% Merlot) has a spectacular note of crushed black and red cherries, warm plums and violets with hints of chocolate box, eucalyptus and Sichuan pepper plus a waft of cinnamon toast. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of bold, expressive black fruits, supported by ripe, grainy tannins and tons of freshness, finishing long and spicy. Delicious!”
